Adobe Caslon Pro Italic + Firefox Issue

Greg Sep 12, 2011 04:17PM PDT

I am using Adobe Caslon Pro Italic on our site. It seems to be rendering just fine in Safari & Chrome but it looks like Firefox is displaying an incorrect version of the font.

Found the answer to your issue. It was alternative swash capitals as I thought and you can control those in Firefox via CSS using the -moz-font-feature-settings: "cswh=0"

Greg,

I have done a bit more digging and found that what you are seeing is Firefox reading the alternative Swash for your characters that is built into the Adobe fonts. I am doing more research into trying to control this via CSS using some of the -moz-font-feature-settings. At this time I am having no luck. I will keep at it and let you know if I find a solution.
